                                                                                   SPRING TURKEY HUNTING – 2019

Turkey hunters in 2019 will find a modest number of two-year-olds, and a large number of three's and older birds.  We are expecting a fair amount of jakes, too.  Our properties are lightly hunted and well-managed.  Each incoming group moves to a fresh area.  If you like to hear lots of gobbling and work birds, this is your kind of hunt.   All our turkeys are the Rio Grande species.

Full-Service Hunts, Lodge – Three Days – Two Birds     $1500

• Hunt from blinds  –  for those who want to hunt near a feeder.  They will be located within 30 yards of the feeder.   

• Hunt “Run and Gun” -  for hunters who prefer the traditional style of turkey hunting.  Milo feeders are used to hold birds on our land.     

• Lodging – comfortable but not fancy.  Sheets on the bed, carpet on the floor.  Hot water in the shower.  Lots of towels. 

• Food – good food and plenty of it, including between-meal snacks and bottled water to take hunting.  You won’t get hungry unless you are on a diet.  If you don’t gain weight, we don’t pay the cook.

• Transportation  - from the San Angelo, TX airport to the camp and return to the airport in plenty of time for your flight.  No need to rent a car.  Driving in?  We’ll send you a good map.

• Bird Cleaning – you may process your own birds, or we’ll do it for you.  We have a great facility with plenty of water and light plus freezer storage and zip-lock bags for the meat.  We can also help arrange taxidermy if you want to mount your bird.

• Lots of Land to Hunt – We hunt many thousands of acres which have an incredible population of birds. 

   

Booking a hunt is easy.  Contact us by phone or by e-mail.  When you pick your date, we’ll send our Booking Agreement and deposit information - one-half down with the balance due upon arrival.  A non-resident license is $126, (16 and younger is $7) and we’ll be happy to obtain it for you before your arrival.  All hunts begin at noon and end at noon with two full days in-between which totals three full days of hunting.
