12-28-07 Rick Pierce from Shreveport, LA hunted with our Home Camp back before Christmas and was kind enough to e-mail us this video of a good buck. This old boy is a good West Texas eight point, but he gets around as if he's been in too many fights lately. That's what the rut does to these old warriors. But with our buck-to-doe ratio being fairly tight, if you want to be a lover, you also have to be a fighter. Kind of makes you glad you're not a whitetail, doesn't it?

12-8-07 The video footage was supplied by Justin Boehler, Amsterdam, NY who hunted our Home Camp back on Hunt # 2. This buck is one mighty fine West Texas whitetail. Justin was able to successfully harvest the buck. Check out Justin's photo with this buck on Hunt Two. The live video shows that, indeed, this one was "a keeper".

12-6-07 On a recent hunt at the Mustang Ranch Camp, video specialist Cam Kleibrink was guiding Laura Beth Buck from California to possibly take her first-ever whitetail. They were hunting from a blind one morning when they got an "up-close-and-personal" encounter with a buck deer. But Laura Beth held out for a better one. She got him the next day.
